Swept Away… the title alone suggests water and lots of it. But is there something else in store here? Well, WGS has been inspired by a desert island, so we guess the ‘swept away’ part has already occurred by the time we get there. The game has some cool features to look out for, and while it is not the most complicated game around, we think it still holds enough promise to have a go.
Reels and lines in play
Just three reels are in evidence here, along with a single line to choose a bet to play on.
The coin range here is just as large as it is in many other WGS games. If you know your stuff, you’ll know those coins range from a cent to ten dollars each. You also have an option to wager up to three coins on that payline.
Swept Away icons to watch for
You probably know the familiar bar symbols that appear in lots of three-reel games. You get something similar here, but this time instead of saying BAR, they say SOS. That makes sense since it appears someone has been stranded on the island.
The only special icon in action in the game is a wild. This is shown as the game logo, so that makes it easy enough to see. Just one is enough to win something, but it can also help substitute for other icons to win another prize. And better still, there are up to 4,000 coins to try and win if you get three logos on the line. That is the jackpot amount, although it will be worth less if you only play one or two coins per spin.
Those logos also pay out if they appear just above or below the line itself. That is unusual for a slot game – and very welcome, too.
There isn’t anything here that resembles a bonus. You must simply focus on the logo as the wild and the jackpot symbol.

This is not a complex game. However, Swept Away can sweep you off your feet thanks to that logo. It is quite the powerful symbol, wouldn’t you say? If you are keen to find out more about the game, give the demo a try today.
